UPDATE: augenus.com (Just to note, software updates will not fix hardware issues, but overall somewhat decent for the price) $150 Android 2.1 Augen 7" Tablet. Seems like a Rebranded Chinese tablet. Resistive touch screen, not very responsive, but works a bit better with included stylus. No vibration, haptick feedback or orientation (accelerometer, even though the instruction manual says it has) 2.5mm headphone jack (not the standard 3.5mm) no dedicated volume controls on outside of device. Any volume adjustments must be done in settings. YOU CAN'T REMOVE YOUR GOOGLE INFO ONCE YOU PUT IT ON THIS DEVICE. Factory reset does not work and it will not remove your account without factory reseting. Not a custom android interface for this tablet, device thinks it's a phone. Heats up VERY quickly and quite hot. Though the box says 2gbs internal memory, instruction manual says 1gb available, tablet says only around 280mbs are available. Micro SD gets stuck in device. Build quality is decent. Built in stylus feels like plastic toothpick, wire sticking out from side of screen. Battery last for 2 hours on highest brightness settings and using WIFI throughout. Putting the device on standby will drain the battery very quickly. No touch screen calibration option found in device. Lots of broken links in settings.
